At Broad View United, we seek to be a Progressive, Inclusive, Intergenerational, and Intercultural Community of Faith. We are blessed with a beautiful, flexible space for our own ministries, and at times we share this gift with others who align with our values and vision.
Our strategic plan guides how we use our facilities. Partner organizations whose mandates complement BVU’s commitments receive first priority for space use. We also keep room in our calendar for emerging BVU programs, ensuring that our building remains a place of welcome, growth, and possibility. Rental of our spaces also provides a modest stream of income that sustains BVU’s ministries,
outreach, and the ongoing care of our buildings.
We recognize that we are settlers on the lands of the lək̓ʷəŋən-speaking peoples of the Coast Salish Nation and remain committed to the Calls to Action of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. As part of this commitment, BVU offers space free of charge to Indigenous groups and gatherings. We also practice relationship-based rentals, supporting the use of our space by marginalized groups on the foundation of mutual gift sharing. If your purpose aligns with this spirit, please reach out to our office to learn more.
We give priority to groups and events that:
