Community Choirs
At Broad View United, music is both expression and spiritual practice. Singing, drumming, and playing together build joy, connection, and a sense of belonging. Our community choirs and ensembles welcome people of all ages and abilities to join in creating music that uplifts, inspires, and deepens our shared life of faith.
Our Purpose
Through BVU’s Community Choirs, we:
Celebrate music as a gift that brings people together across generations and cultures.
Provide accessible, inclusive opportunities for children, youth, and adults to explore their creativity.
Enrich worship and community life with music that inspires joy, connection, and
reflection.

BVU Community Choir

A 90-voice, non-auditioned choir open to all. Singing swing, gospel, folk, pop, R&B, and world music, the choir offers concerts twice a year. Music-reading ability is not required—practice tracks are provided. Try a rehearsal before committing!

Chancel Choir

A smaller ensemble that rehearses before Community Choir, preparing 4-part anthems
to share during worship (last Sunday of the month, Bridge service). This year, singing in
the round offers a new model of musical connection.

Pringle Handbell Choir

A joyful, inclusive group for those curious about handbells. No prior experience required—skills are taught. The choir shares their music a few times each year in
worship.

Children’s Drum Circle
● Dates & Times: Thursdays, in 6-week blocks · Beginning Nov 6 · 4–5 pm (45 mins of drumming + 15 min snack/community time)

For children ages 6–12, this free percussion ensemble explores rhythm, song, and community in an inclusive setting. Five blocks of sessions will run from November to June, with opportunities to share music in worship.
